Let’s look at a typical double window, say for a dining room – about 72 inches wide and 60 inches high. PLAN A: $250-325 For privacy and light control with a traditional look, 2” faux wood blinds with a matching finished valance that has the look of a wood cornice. PLAN B: $800-950 Add an upholstered, shaped cornice with the top and bottom edges detailed with fabric welting in a contrasting color to dress up the same 2” wood-like blinds from Plan A. This price range is for the blind and the cornice together. PLAN C: $1650-1900 Faux-Finished 2” Rods with Great Finials and Rings, Stationary Drapery Panels in Silk, Interlined for Body and Trimmed with Tassel Fringe.
