I can’t wait to meet you… but until we do, here’s a little bit about myself…

Raised near Philadelphia, I traveled to Illinois to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design (product design) degree from the University of Illinois in 1985. Armstrong World Industries hired me to design interiors products such as ceiling systems and carpet until I "retired" from the corporate design world for the arrival of my firstborn.

My love of creating with fabric resurfaced while I was home full time with my children, and my business began in 1991 in Pennsylvania. Since returning to Illinois in 1994, I've focused on window treatments and home decoration with fabric. Several online associations of window covering professionals link me daily via the internet to the latest products, techniques, fabrics and ideas.

I have written several articles on my area of expertise for one of our industry's main magazines, Window Fashions Magazine. Membership in WCAA, the Window Coverings Association of America, means that I can provide you with the newest, best and safest products available.

Working with textiles to help make someone's house a home gives me great joy, and working one-on-one with clients in their homes is the best way to start creating solutions for the unique challenges of every space.
